About us
Precision Aeroworks was founded on decades of hands-on experience in commercial aviation, aircraft structures, aerospace modification, and heavy maintenance operations. Founder David Kidd has spent nearly 30 years working throughout the aviation and aerospace industries, performing complex structural repairs, major aircraft modifications, Wi-Fi and connectivity installations, custom fabrication, systems integration, and time-critical maintenance support across Boeing and Airbus platforms throughout the United States and abroad.

Following his early years in commercial aviation, David transitioned into contract modification and heavy maintenance work, eventually becoming one of the original five team members brought in by Ryan Dailey during the formative development of Aviation Managed Solutions (AMS). During the company’s formative years from 2012 through 2017, David helped build the high-performance modification and structures teams that would later become widely respected throughout the commercial aviation industry for their ability to solve difficult structural challenges, execute demanding fleet modification programs, and consistently deliver quality work under aggressive timelines at major MRO facilities across the country.

After the AMS years, David continued working across both the aviation and aerospace industries, supporting additional commercial aircraft modification programs, performing Quality Assurance work supporting aerospace manufacturing operations, and later contributing to the assembly and integration of the first three New Glenn rockets at Blue Origin in an Integration Engineer role before returning to large-scale commercial aircraft modification and structural programs.

Over the years, David has built strong relationships throughout the aviation and aerospace industries while working alongside many highly experienced mechanics, structures technicians, avionics installers, fabricators, inspectors, engineers, and aerospace professionals across a wide range of aircraft and aerospace platforms. Those experiences, industry relationships, and operational standards helped form the foundation upon which Precision Aeroworks was built.

Today, Precision Aeroworks provides specialized support services including structural modification, Wi-Fi and connectivity installations, avionics upgrades, aerospace fabrication support, systems integration, and rapid-response AOG services. Precision Aeroworks operates as a specialized subcontract support organization, performing work through FAA-certified Part 145 repair stations while also directly supporting major commercial air carriers under their approved maintenance programs and operational authority. We are known for adapting quickly to demanding operational environments, minimizing downtime, and delivering dependable results where safety, precision, and execution matter most.
