WHY PRECISION AEROWORKS CORP.™
WHY INDUSTRY LEADERS CHOOSE US
Frequently asked questions
We Have Done This Work Personally.
Most companies in this industry are run by people who manage mechanics. Precision Aeroworks Corp.™ is run by a mechanic. Every service we offer — every structural repair, every Wi-Fi installation, every aerospace integration task, every AOG callout — is something our principal has personally performed. Not supervised from an office. Not managed from a distance. Done with his own hands, on real aircraft and launch vehicles, under real schedule pressure, to real airworthiness and program standards.
That means when we say we can do something, we know we can do it. Not because it is on a resume. Because we have done it
Our Network Is Not a Database. It Is a Roster of Proven Professionals.
The staffing industry runs on databases. Thousands of names, checkboxes for certifications, and a coordinator who has never held a rivet gun making the match. Sometimes it works. Often it does not. Either way the staffing company gets paid.
Precision Aeroworks operates differently. Our professional network was built over 30 years of working alongside the best mechanics, structures technicians, integration engineers, and quality professionals in the country — many of them veterans of Aviation Managed Solutions, the premium structures and modification company that LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions acquired in 2017 because of the quality of the team. These are people whose work we have seen firsthand. Whose standards we know. Whose names we would put on any job without hesitation.
To put it simply: even a four-person Precision Aeroworks crew brings over 100 years of combined hands-on experience to your project. That is not a talking point. That is the reality of who we are and who we work with.
We Bring Credentials No Competitor Our Size Can Match.
David Kidd — Founder and Principal of Precision Aeroworks — holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and brings a combination of credentials that is genuinely rare in a small business:
Over 30 years of commercial aviation structural repair, modification, and systems work across virtually every major airframe in service today
Senior Integration Engineer — Blue Origin New Glenn rocket program, nearly four years, first three vehicles assembled at Cape Canaveral
Quality Engineer — SpaceX Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, and Dragon capsule programs
Among the first Wi-Fi installers on commercial aircraft in the United States — Gogo B757 program beginning 2005
MLG and nose gear trunnion fitting replacements on wide-body aircraft — a repair so rare most A&P; mechanics have never seen one
Military prototype and defense program experience
This is not a resume assembled to look impressive. It is 30 years of showing up, doing the hardest work on the floor, and building a reputation one job at a time.
We Build What Others Cannot Source.
In both aviation and aerospace, there are moments when the part does not exist, the lead time is unacceptable, or the drawing package is incomplete. Most companies stop there. Precision Aeroworks does not.
Our team has the structural fabrication background and the practical problem-solving experience to produce aviation and aerospace hardware when conventional supply chains cannot. Whether it is a structural component fabricated to an engineering drawing, a one-off repair part machined to specification, or a prototype built from a concept sketch and minimal technical direction — we have the skills, the network of precision machine shop partners, and the hands-on fabrication experience to make it happen.
In the defense and aerospace world this capability is sometimes called safari work — low documentation, high skill, build it right the first time from whatever information is available. Our team has done exactly that. On military prototype programs. On aerospace vehicle integration. On commercial aircraft structural repairs where the manual did not have an answer and an engineer and a mechanic had to find one together.
For aviation operators and MROs this means that when a part is obsolete, backordered, or simply unavailable — Precision Aeroworks may be able to fabricate it. Working from OEM drawings, engineering repair authorizations, or DER-approved data, we can produce structural components, brackets, fittings, and hardware that keep your aircraft flying without waiting weeks for a supply chain to catch up.
For government and defense procurement — including DLA and DoD programs — this translates directly into build-to-print fabrication capability, first article inspection support, and prototype development. Our SAM.gov registration, CAGE code, and track record across both commercial aviation and orbital launch programs position Precision Aeroworks as a credible and capable small business supplier for exactly this type of work.
If you can describe it, draw it, or sketch it — there is a very good chance we can build it.
We Do Not Compete on Price. We Compete on Outcome.
Generic staffing companies compete on price because price is the only lever they have. They cannot differentiate on quality because they do not control who shows up. They cannot differentiate on accountability because the coordinator who sold you the service will never set foot on your hangar floor.
Precision Aeroworks competes on outcome. Our clients do not pay for hours. They pay for results — aircraft back in service, modifications completed correctly, integration milestones hit, first article hardware delivered to drawing. The difference between a job done right the first time and a job that requires rework is not a small cost difference. It is a very large one. Our pricing reflects the value of getting it right the first time, every time.
We Are Space Coast Based — And That Is a Strategic Advantage.
Melbourne Beach, Florida puts Precision Aeroworks at the center of the most active aerospace market in the country. Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Patrick Space Force Base are minutes away. Blue Origin, L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and NASA are all neighbors. For aerospace staffing and integration support that means immediate availability, zero mobilization delay, and a team that already knows the facilities, the environment, and the operational standards those programs demand.
For aviation clients, our Florida base provides rapid AOG deployment capability along the entire Eastern Seaboard and beyond — and our nationwide MRO experience means we are equally at home in your facility regardless of where it sits on the map.
The Bottom Line.
There are companies that will send you someone. There are companies that will send you a crew. And there is Precision Aeroworks — a team of professionals who have spent decades becoming exceptionally good at this work, who have done it together, who have built a reputation on delivering when it matters most, and who bring that standard to every single engagement regardless of size.
If you are looking for the lowest price, we are probably not your company.
If you are looking for the right team — the one that shows up prepared, executes with precision, and leaves the job better than they found it — then there is one call to make
